Foo For Thought

I happened to stumble across a leaked copy of the new Foo Fighters album on the 'Net...and my mouth is agape with wonder at how solid this album is from top to bottom. 2 CDs, half rock, half acoustic, all great. I'm gonna wake up early next Tuesday just to buy it.

Still debating whether or not I should buy Coldplay's new album. I typically like to rock out to my music, but I wonder if this one's worth it as a "change-of-pace" addition to my collection...we shall see...

  • mixing things up is always good. I like to have a little of everything (minus the crap..like rap) in my collection. That surprises me..the Foo fighter album being half acoustic. Let me know if you like it..and if you do then i'm gonna borrow it from you! *grins*

  • Coldplay is great. It took a few times to get into it, but I'm SO in love with it now. As for the Foo, I've resisted the temptation to buy it until now, but I'm changing my mind. I always said that if they put out an accoustic album I would buy it, and here we go!

  • I caved and bought Coldplay. It's good change-of-pace music...nothing I'd turn up loud in my car though. I've been in a "rock-out" mood lately, so needless to say, it's gathering dust...

The Foo album(s) is (are) fantastic...but it comes with copy protection, so I'm having extreme difficulty enjoying it on my computer.

  • Seeing as you're having difficulties with the foo..I think you should let me babysit it for a while. ;) And yeah..agreed..colplay is good. I especially like it when i'm driving home at night after work. Also good in that mellow/relaxed genre is Mae.
