*sniff*...I feel so appreciated...

Out of absolutely nowhere, we had staff appreciation day earlier this week. I've been at Extra Foods for 3 years now, and there's never been a staff appreciation day. Free pop, free cake...and the first thing that comes to my mind is: OK, what's the catch? ;)

It turns out, for the time being, that there is no catch. In fact, we all got a free Extra Foods water bottle (pretty sweet as far as water bottles go), and a letter from the vice-president saying how much he cherishes each and every one of us! Awwwwww. Now I feel like saying, "What I like best about you is...."

If he really feels that way, I feel that he should fork over a share of his substantial bonus and split it with us..........but a water bottle is good.........no really, it is...........it suits my water consumption needs........and it's green.........I like green.........
