Update
After much tossing and turning and internal deabte, I've decided where I'm going to school. I'm going back to the U of S.
I felt as though the U of R had no sense of urgency whatsoever in helping me shape my program...trying to get this done long-distance absolutely sucked. I haven't had too many problems dealing with the U of S. I'm also familiar with the majority of profs, which makes me more comfortable about defending my thesis when the time comes. Plus I know someone who'll be in the same program as me! I can also keep my job and good wage, but not be there all the time like I am already!
This whole experience has taught me something. I've learned that I'm willing and ready to move, but that I don't necessarily have to. I wasn't willing 6 months ago. Plus paying tuition on top of rent, etc gave me the willies. I figure I'll be more then ready once I get my Master's. Pardon the proverb, but the world will be my oyster.
Rhi...if you're reading this...what classes are you taking? ;)

"And you know, I really hope to see you at the U of S someday ..."
How deliciously cryptic! Tell me more!

Hey Evan,
Did you make your appointment for advising yet? I'm 10:15 on August 30th. It's about time I would have to say that they let us register for classes - I can't get anything done at the university anymore since they no longer consider me a student. It's like being a first-year all over again!
